Clogau Bridal & Engagement Guide
This is a supporting guide to our main Clogau Brand Guide. It focuses on the bridal and engagement range — the royal wedding tradition, the Compose® customisation service, and diamond certification standards.
Welsh gold has been the choice for royal wedding rings since 1923. Clogau's bridal range allows couples to share in this century-old tradition through the Compose® customisation service. Every piece contains rare Welsh gold from the same source used by generations of the Royal Family.
1 | The Royal Wedding Tradition
For over a century, senior members of the British Royal Family have chosen Welsh gold for their wedding rings. The tradition began in 1923 when Lady Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon chose pure Welsh gold from the Clogau St David's mine.
