Which Tissot Powermatic 80 watches sell best at OD's?
Our top-selling Powermatic 80: PRX Powermatic 80 Blue Dial Bracelet Watch, PRX Powermatic 80 Black Dial Watch and PRX Powermatic 80 Ice Blue Dial. The blue dial is our most popular — versatile across all outfits and the closest to the 1978 original PRX colourway.
What is a Powermatic 80 movement?
The Tissot Powermatic 80 is a self-winding automatic movement with an 80-hour power reserve — double the typical 40-hour reserve found in standard automatics. This means you can remove the watch on Friday evening and it will still be running on Monday morning. No battery replacement is required.
How do I set a Tissot Powermatic 80 watch?
Pull the crown to position 1 to set the date; pull to position 2 to set the time. If the watch has stopped, wind it manually by turning the crown clockwise (without pulling it) 20–30 turns before setting. Call 01744 730985 if you need hands-on assistance — we can demonstrate in store.
How often does a Tissot Powermatic 80 need servicing?
Tissot recommends servicing every 8–10 years for the Powermatic 80 movement. This involves cleaning, lubricating and checking the movement accuracy. OD's can arrange service through Tissot's authorised UK service centre. Call 01744 730985 for a service quote.
