For an elegant wedding look, less is almost always more. You want the focus to be on you, and probably on the dress (or suit) that’s cost you a fortune. Accessories should be exactly that – they should add to your outfit, not detract attention from it.
It’s not necessary to wear every single type of jewellery on your wedding day. Sometimes, just a couple of tasteful accessories is all that’s needed to finish off your look. Additionally, if you’re going for big earrings, don’t also choose a chunky necklace, as the effect is likely to be overwhelming.
When it comes to rings, you want all the focus to be on your wedding and engagement rings, so we’d advise against wearing any others. We know, a jewellery company advising you not to buy jewellery is a little strange – but we’re just being honest!
It’s a good idea to take all your bridal jewellery with you to your final dress fitting. This will give you the chance to see what everything looks like together. Ideally, try to have your wedding hair trial on the same day for the full effect!
