Nomination Necklaces
Nomination Necklaces at OD's Jewellers
Nomination necklaces extend the brand’s famous Italian storytelling tradition beyond the wrist. Built around stainless steel foundations with precious metal accents, enamel details, cubic zirconia and gemstones, each necklace is designed to be personal, collectible and easy to wear every day.
Whether you prefer subtle pendants, mixed-metal styles or meaningful motifs, Nomination necklaces pair effortlessly with Composable® bracelets and charms. The look is modular, modern and rooted in the same Florentine craftsmanship that made the brand iconic.

From Florence to a Global Phenomenon
Nomination began in 1983 near Florence, where founder Paolo Gensini set out to create jewellery that everyone could personalise. The breakthrough came in 1987 with the Composable® bracelet, built from stainless steel links topped with 18k gold letters. The idea was simple but revolutionary: jewellery that tells your story, designed to grow and evolve with you.
Today’s necklaces follow the same philosophy of self-expression. With symbols representing love, travel, luck, family and milestones, each piece reflects the modular spirit that made the brand famous across Italy, Europe and eventually the world.
Materials, Craft & Design Codes
Nomination necklaces use the same material DNA as the Composable® line: durable stainless steel for the foundation, combined with 18k yellow and rose gold, 9k gold, sterling silver, enamel, sparkling cubic zirconia and genuine gemstones. This mix delivers strong detail, subtle colour, everyday comfort and long-lasting wear.
Lengths follow classic jewellery standards – from short collarbone styles around 40–44 cm to mid-chest and long layering lengths up to 80 cm. Each piece is designed to stack naturally with other Nomination jewellery.
Iconic Collections & Modern Culture
The brand’s resurgence in 2023–2024, driven by Love Island exposure, TikTok styling videos and renewed interest in charm jewellery, brought Nomination back to the centre of modern fashion culture. Necklaces became part of this movement, with symbols and motifs reflecting the same themes that make the bracelets collectible and emotionally meaningful.
With over 5,000 retailers worldwide and over €60 million in annual turnover, Nomination remains one of Italy’s most recognisable jewellery houses – still family-run and still rooted in Florentine craftsmanship.
Care & Warranty
Like all plated and enamelled pieces, Nomination necklaces should be kept away from water, perfumes, lotions and chemicals to preserve shine and surface detail. Store them separately in their original pouches to prevent scratches. All Nomination jewellery purchased from OD’s Jewellers includes a two-year manufacturer warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship.
