Coeur de Lion GeoCUBE Collection Guide
This is a supporting guide to our main Coeur de Lion Brand Guide. It focuses on the GeoCUBE® collection — the modular design system that underpins the majority of Coeur de Lion's necklace, bracelet and earring output.
GeoCUBE® is Coeur de Lion's signature design system — precision-cut cubic elements arranged in repeating geometric sequences on nylon-coated steel wire. Introduced in 1999, it translates the Bauhaus principle of functional geometry into wearable jewellery. Every piece is hand-assembled in Stuttgart.

Naming Convention
The first word indicates the sub-line tier (Iconic, Precious, Deluxe). Additional descriptors (Statement, Motion, Fusion) indicate format variations. Seasonal colourway names are applied on top.
2 | Cube Sizes & Construction
4 mm — Classic
The standard GeoCUBE® proportion. Delicate, linear. Used in Iconic and Iconic Precious sub-lines.
6 mm — Mid-Weight
A step up in visual weight without moving to statement scale. Selected Iconic and Precious variants.
8 mm — Statement
Bold, architectural. Designed to be the focal point of an outfit. Precious Statement necklaces only.
Spacers & Crimping
Between each cube sits a rhinestone rondelle or stainless steel disc. Wire terminates via permanent mechanical crimping — pieces cannot be shortened at the point of sale.
3 | Stone & Material Logic
Natural Semi-Precious Stones
Amethyst, aventurine, sodalite, onyx, rose quartz, tiger's eye, lapis lazuli, haematite, malachite and more. Cut into cubic form with natural colour variation.
Swarovski® Crystals
Precision-cut, lead-free glass. Used in Iconic cubes and rondelle accents. Introduces sparkle that natural stones alone do not provide.
Polaris Resin
Synthetic polyester with saturated, consistent colour. Used where specific colour intensity is needed. Lighter than stone, affecting drape.
Labelling Transparency
Coeur de Lion labels all materials explicitly. Synthetic stones are stated as such. If a mineral is named without a synthetic qualifier, it is natural.
4 | Set-Building
GeoCUBE® is designed as a set system. Every necklace colourway is produced with a matching bracelet and earrings using identical cube materials and spacer configuration. This has operated since 1999.
Set Identification
- The colourway name and four-digit article prefix remain consistent across all pieces in a set
- Standard set: necklace + bracelet + earrings
- Earrings use 316L stainless steel studs or rhodium-plated sterling silver hooks
- Approximate earring weight: 7 grams per pair
Magnetic Clasps
Certain pieces use high-strength magnetic clasps instead of standard lobster closures. Magnetic-clasp pieces cannot be extended or shortened. They should not be worn by individuals with pacemakers or electronic medical implants.
Care Note
Preventing Wire Kinking
Store necklaces and bracelets flat in their original designer case, never hanging or coiled. The branded case is engineered specifically to prevent kinking — the most common repair reason for GeoCUBE® pieces.

6 | Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between GeoCUBE Iconic and Iconic Precious?
The silhouette is identical. Iconic uses Swarovski crystals, Polaris resin and synthetic stones. Iconic Precious uses natural semi-precious gemstones as the primary cube fill, at a higher price point.
Are GeoCUBE pieces available individually or only as sets?
Every piece is sold individually. The set structure means matching items exist for each colourway, but there is no obligation to purchase them together.
Can a GeoCUBE necklace be shortened?
Not at the point of sale. The wire is permanently crimped at both ends. Most necklaces include a 2-3 cm extension chain for minor adjustment. Magnetic-clasp models are fixed-length.
Why do two pieces in the same colourway look slightly different?
If the cubes contain natural stone, each carries inherent colour and pattern variation. This is expected in the Iconic Precious and Deluxe sub-lines. Swarovski crystals and Polaris resin show higher consistency.
